THE FASHION TIMES ¦ WEEK-IN-REVIEW

Rihanna is set to design another collection for High-Street brand River Island, following the success of her previous collection. Rihanna semi-revealed the design process on an photo on Instagram featuring co-designer Adam Selmon stating that she was in 'design mode'. We will keep our eyes peeled for the collection to emerge from the start who is currently on her Diamonds World Tour.
 

 
The FASHION TIMES team revealed on Instagram earlier this week that we would be focusing part of our blog to China, following reports of French jewellers Cartier's Chinese trademark lawsuit win, and the on going issues within the world of intellectual property and the day to day business relationships between Chinese and other INTL companies. This will be called the: China Focus Project and will feature on our blog page as part of the launch of the Global Business segment to our research.
 

Beyoncé as Mrs Carter for H&M launched yesterday in UK stores for Beyoncé's newest collaboration within the fashion industry. Beyoncé is also on a world tour and is continuing to prove just what a savvy business woman she really is. (would have like to see some high-end collabs!)
Ralph Lauren has agreed to pay a reported $1.6M as a settlement for allegations of bribing argentine officials by the U.S. Justice Department and Securities and Exchange Commission.
Kolor and Damir Doma have been announced as the guest designers for Pitti Uomo (Kolor) in Florence June 18th-12st and Pitti W (Doma). Both brands will host events to showcase their collections for S/S 14.
London Collections: Men have too announced a number of designers to showcase collections at the event in June 15th -18th 2013. Names such as Jimmy Choo, Hardy Aimes, Sibling, MAN, Alexander McQueen, Nasir Mazhar and many other designers totalling over 60 designers to show at the June event with a healthy quantity of private parties and private dinners.
The Bicester Village Designer Collection began yesterday with host Rita Ora and an array of Fashion industry talent from Henry Holland to Yasmin Sewell. This Exclusive Fashion Collective have made it possible for Fashion's young talent to showcase and retail their pieces at the event.
 
 
 
Rihanna has collaborated with MAC Cosmetics to create the RiRi Hearts MAC Collection and has unveiled her latest Diamond World Tour product RiRi Woo for MAC. The new lipstick that seems to be a spin off of the original Ruby Woo sold out in a reported three hours in the North American region, so you'd want to act fast if you want to get your hands on a pair as fashion and beauty vloggers/bloggers have gone Woo for RiRi
