COSTCO SUED (AGAIN!) BUT THIS TIME MICHAEL KORS

 Michael Kors Holdings Ltd  has sued Costco Wholesalers, accusing the company of running a "bait-and-switch" false advertising scheme.According to a complaint filed by Kors, Costco has never been an authorized retailer of Michael Kors handbags, yet it has recently run advertisements implying that the handbags are available "starting at $99."

A number of American retailers have agreed to a five year pact to ensure that there is adequate protection of the working conditions and building safety in Bangladesh, BBC News reports. This comes after the Rana Plaza building collapse which left more than 1000 dead and another building fire later in November.

CLAIMS OF FRAUD AGAINST WORLD LUXURY ASSOCIATION

Beijing Youth Daily recently reported that the World Luxury Association (WLA) were set to have their licences revoked due to fake registration materials. It was reported that WLA's corporate registration address was located at an building that owners say never contracted with the company in regards to tenancy. Numerous claims like this have surfaced regarding the WLA leading them to be called ''knock offs'' and grow a continually suspicious audience. The head of the Beijing Administration Industry and Commerce is expected to announce the revocation of WLA's licence today [July 6].

CHINESE DEVELOPER ABP TO CREATE THIRD FINANCIAL DISTRICT IN LONDON

(TFT) Chinese developer Advanced Business Park have signed a deal to develop London, England's Royal Albert Dock in another financial district aimed at Asian and Chinese businesses who are looking to do business in the west. Along with offices spaces the development will also offer luxury retail space, residences and restaurants. No one has signed up to the tenancy as of yet but there are a reported 20 companies in talks with ABP regarding securing a space. The £bn development, predicted for completion in 2023, is also said to bring tens of thousands of jobs in to London and will also boost the economy of the UK. More on this story as it develops
